Cobra bar is my favourite on Hans-Albers-Platz - perhaps not saying much, but it is a cool, weird, little dive bar. The last night I was there it was fully of rockabilly-dressed people, which seemed odd, but I got the feeling that it's always like that and the other reviews seem to back that up.
The bar staff were impressively tattooed and the bar itself was decorated in an incredibly cool manner. I can't remember the prices, but all bars in the vicinity are cheap, so it'll be cheap :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype-käyttäjä (Lauris…)Rooma, Italia70495923. huhtik. 2009
As for Im not a big rockabilly fan I somehow havent spent my entire evening there. But the music(they usually have dj's, no live music there i suppose),cheap prices and nice ppl there are quite a reason to stay at least for a few drinks.
Usually pretty crowded as for this bar is right on the Hans-Albers Platz.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Wasabi K.Hampuri, Saksa9183886. lokak. 2008Ensimmäisen arvostelun tekijä
What's there to say about this cool rock bar just off the touristy Hans-Albers-Platz area?
I mean if you like noisy (punk)rock music, cold beer (and a good selection of other drinks of course), a cool crowd of relaxed people between approx. 20 and 45 years, a trashy, dimly-lit interior and a kicker table Cobra Bar is the place to go to. Nothing more needs to be said here.
It's also conveniently located right next to King Calavera and 20 Flight Rock which is a great Bermuda Triangle for a successful Saturday night.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype-käyttäjä (Kittle…)Lontoo, Britannia501193425. lokak. 2007
A very hectic little bar near the reeperbahn that was silly enough to let one team of very drunk Saint Pauli rugby players plus me through it's doors in the early hours of the morning.
There's seating in the front area but it's safe to say any chance of securing one of those was long gone hours ago. The dance floor is small and pretty much we all but too over it with our crew...
The music is hectic, trashy punk, disko, I'm-not-sure-what- there isn't much room and I got smacked in the face by flying limbs no less then three times over the night.
Dancing on this dance floor felt as safe as a mouse getting down with a herd of Elephants.
The drinks are decent and the atmosphere great as well.
Worth popping into.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
