      Such a disappointment I called at 10 am to schedule a women's haircut and the women let me know they had an appointment at 4 that afternoon and I let her know I wanted It. I naturally waited for her to take my info so they would know who It was and she didn't. She said ok see you at 4 bye bye and hung up. I went at 4 and they had nothing for me and didn't have anything to say other then offer me another time. I am very disappointed with how they handled this. Make sure to give your info even if they don't ask on the phone.

      Best haircut i've ever received! I was recommended to Firefly Salon by a friend, but after looking at their yelp reviews i was nervous. I called and said i was in desperate need and they were able to fit me in the next day. I made my appointment, then they called and had a cancelation and said i could come in earlier if it worked for me! The salon was busy! Super cute interior and friendly staff. My hairdresser was Cayley and she asked all the right questions which i appreciated because ive had haircuts that i didnt ask for...Cayley is super experienced friendly and so fun! We became friends after one appointment. The way she trimmed my bangs, framed my face and added layers to my hair was so well done! I have never felt better or more confident. I will definitely be coming back!

      So I went in a week ago for a haircut, as I've been growing my hair out for over a year from being shaved. Grow out hair looks terrible, obviously, but you just have to live with it for a while. Ashley however made my shabby, unhappy hair look amazing. I was so happy that I booked myself and my mother color services, I had total confidence in Ashely and the salon.

      A week later, the girl who did my hair, for some reason decided to bleach cap it, even though we talked about how much I liked my green color, AND my roots for the 'shadow root' effect. All I wanted, and what I was booked for, was highlights to lighten up some areas, or possibly lowlights depending on how my stylist felt my hair was, and what it could handle.

      The bleach cap she insisted on doing ruined my hair, then she tried to put color in and of course it didn't take, my hair was to damaged at that point. I was shaking, I cried later but tried to hold myself together because my mother was in the chair across from me getting her hair done. I just wanted us to have a lovely day, and hoped I could somehow fix it myself at home.

      I tried to explain to the owner, who wouldn't even speak to me, she kept using threatening language toward me, implying she was going to seek legal action against me... My hair at this point is frog butt green and utterly fried - the stylist Ashly, who was doing my mother's service at the time, came over at one point to try and help the girl with my hair, and when my girl kept saying, 'how do I fix this, what do we do now?' Ashely had to tell her, 'her hair's just done.'

      The owner wouldn't hear any of this, she said and this is a direct quote, 'it doesn't matter if people are unhappy with their service, they pay for it.' After say this she refused to speak to me further or try to work things out, even as I tried to explain the bleach cap she was trying to charge me for wasn't my idea, and I protested it several times, as I told the girl I was -very- happy with my hair color and just wanted some more dimension put in it.

      I was told that my hair, which is so damaged it won't take color, could be 'taken to platinum right now' and other ridiculousness. At home in the shower my hair is falling out, I have to pile leave-in in it just to get it combed out, I've tried to color it but it simply won't take, so my roots are 'hot' and my ends are frog green... This, after I paid $180 for my mother's hair, and a week later paid $100 for my haircut, products and tip. I'm almost $300 into a salon I can no longer go to, because the owner wouldn't own up to her girl making a huge mistake.

      Ashley is a fantastic stylist, I really wish I could go back to her for my cuts, but that's not an option. And now I have the owner threatening me for not wanting to pay for my damaged, frog green hair. It was a horrible, horrible experience and her threats, to someone who'd just spent that kind of money in her salon, are simply unacceptable. The money I spent over the week there aside, it's never, ever acceptable to threaten a guest though, no matter how much or little money they've spent. When one of your people ruins a guest's hair, it's your job to do damage control, and not level threats in an attempt to extort more money.

      So I just received a haircut from here and I was not impressed with Ashley's performance. A men's cut like mine should have been clean and blended well. She took very little time blending and it looks very choppy. She also spent very little time on top as well. Even after telling her a had a bad experience at hair masters, you think she would have wanted to do a good job but she did not. Not happy at all with the result. The one thing she did well was the scalp massage that's it. She washed my hair twice. I wished she would have spent more time cutting than washing! Ashely was very kind and friendly but sorry to say but this is one of the worst I've had so far.

      Chelsea is a wonderful stylist. I highly recommend her. I would give her 5 stars. I am giving 2 stars because of the owner. She has a lovely salon and hires great people but when I spoke to her about a pricing issue she was extremely defensive. She clearly did care about an unhappy regular client. This is unfortunate. I am now a former client as I have sought services elsewhere.

      Very disappointed with my service from the salon owner yesterday. I, like others have stated, I had a price discrepancy and went to the owner with the hope she would make things right; instead she ignored me and went home leaving the issue for her salon manager to speak to. The issue I had was on my wedding day I was charged $105.00 dollars for a cut and curl for my mother in law and charged another $55.00 just to curl my sister in laws hair. So $160.00 out the door for what I could (should) have done at home for nothing. They did not even wash or dry their hair and honestly if they cut my mothers hair, like they said they did it couldn't have been very much due to the length of her hair to begin with. She is older in age and has a short boys cut that may have taken more effort to put a curling iron through her hair than scissors. As I stated it was my wedding day so I did not want the experience to be negative and thought well I will just talk to them when I come back in to do my hair again. Big mistake; but honestly I don't believe it would have mattered when we had the discussion. This owner is in it for the money and does not understand what it means to take care of customers. So it appears she is not smart about business either because making me happy yesterday would have ensured her lots of money in the future just as others have stated she lost a customer that could have brought her thousands of dollars over the course of years for a lousy $50 today. Now that is dumb business; your business but dumb business and it will continue as long as she works for her dollar today without seeing the value in future business. It is not like there is a shortage in hairdressers, especially greedy ones!!!

      It appears the last good review was about three years ago when they first opened by Girl D. 05/24/2012. Every recent review has the same story.

      I love everything about this salon. The people are so welcoming, the talent is A+, and the price is half of what I used to pay at my old salon. It's a few
      Minutes away and it's smack dab near Starbucks :)

      Love my stylist but unfortunately won't be going back here. They charged a surprise $15 extra for color because they had to use extra color on me..my hair is barely past my shoulders in length..When I spoke to the owner and told her that I was not expecting the $15 extra charge she said it was on their website (which I did not visit nor should I have to). I had been here multiple times for hair cut and would have continued ..but when I told the owner I would not be coming back because of the surprise charge all she said was "sorry"

      Love Aveda salons. They were initially wonderful but after my second visit I won't be going back. I wanted to go dark brown with a Carmel highlight and what I got was mousy brown with blonde. The haircut was ok, seemed like she was afraid to do much of anything to my hair when I was looking for a new look... I didn't get that. What really did it in for me was that they charged $15.00 for an extra color( I only asked for 2 colors)! So if you want anything besides one color in your hair be expected to pay! It should go by volume of product not per color! Not the place for me.

      I marvel at this adorable little salon in the center of Snohomish's historic riverfront promenade. A hundred years ago, it was a mortgage banker's of sorts, and the stylists still maneuver in and out of a massive vault door in the back corner of the tiny space to mix your color formulas. Yet I've been here when the place has been packed (and by "packed," it can hold about five customers) and there's still complete order, not chaos or crowding.

      I've been here three times now, and I'm very impressed with Nicole's work. She looks like she'd be too young to have much experience with her craft, but she knows what she's doing and her suggestions are spot-on. She's careful and precise with color, and I never leave with smudges of color in places I don't want them. My old salon (another Aveda salon in the South End) had been coloring my hair at level 10 for a decade, and I just assumed it was supposed to fade and leave me gray within three weeks after my appointment. Not so. Nicole immediately recommended bumping me up to a level 20, and it still looks fantastic, a month later. Nicole is focused and professional, and keeps the yakking to a minimum while she manages the details of your color and cut, which is fine by me.

      This Aveda salon is $10-15 more expensive, service-for-service, than my old salon in Kent, but I can't argue with the results.
