I asked the staff at the holiday inn express next door about good Indian food in the area. They completely failed to mention this gem and sent me to Mumbai Delight (which is okay but no where near as good as this place). I will also say that Hot Stuff is more bang for the buck than Mumbai Delight with better quality and quantity food for the same price.
The manager here is the chef and host. He was very accommodating and the food speaks for itself. Now I know why they say Indian food can be better in London than India.
We got the following dishes and everything is highly recommended.
- lamb saag
- lamb madras
- king prawn masala
- aloo gobi
- garlic and coriander nanHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kate M.Lyon, Ranska39302523. helmik. 2016
I had a great experience here! Myself and two others were visiting London for the weekend and decided we wanted Indian food. We chose this place based on the reviews and they don't lie! We reserved about an hour and a half ahead of time and were warmly welcomed. The place was full and noisy with a very casual atmosphere. As it's BYOB, we brought a bottle of wine with us at no additional charge. The owner was extremely friendly and asked us if we wanted to let him choose the food for us. We hesitantly went with that option and we were NOT disappointed. As I'm writing this review a few weeks after the fact and not having chosen the dishes, I can't remember everything we ate...but it was all AMAZING. And when the bill came it was only £33 for three people and we were all stuffed!
Delicious food, fantastic value, and a warm welcome...you can't ask for more.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Emily B.San Diego, Yhdysvallat6652717. huhtik. 2016
A must go to when visiting London. The tikka masala is amazing. I was visiting for 2 days and I went there for 2 days. Seriously under rated. A great place and they customize anything you want. A home feel.

Super friendly waiter, small restaurant and difficult to get to (nearest tube stop is vauxhall).
Ordered:
Chicken tikka masala - yum!!
pashwari naan - delicious but not as sweet or filled as other pashwari naan i've had. i still love it though. Good for those of you who like sultanas and coconut.
mango lassi - a really small glass... a little watery.
rice - standard
meat samosas - delicious (i split it with a friend)
parathas (free! with four dips!) - same as any other restaurant
All of the above for 13.20. i had SO MUCH food it was ridiculous.
And the waiter was ridiculously nice and gave us otter pops (or whatever the uk equivalent is) at the end. He's also happy to give suggestions if you dont' know what to order! I recommend booking a table ahead of time, as the place is small and fills up quickly.
Great service, great food, great prices, but a difficult location to reach!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kirsten G.Lontoo, Britannia1362341286. tammik. 2018
Hands down my favourite Indian restaurant in London. Don't look at the menu, just let them bring you dish after dish after dish! The staff make you feel like you're in their home kitchen! The food is so delicious and authentic. You absolutely cannot go wrong here! They have a huge variety of dishes, and they do a great job of delivering a huge variety when your dining! Go!

I almost don't want to write this review because I hate to give the secret away. One of the best dining experiences, and incredible food.
They offer for you to either order off the menu, or they will prepare a selection of dishes for you to try! We loved having them give us what they decided, it was as if we told our good friend we hadn't tried Indian food and he invited us over to cook for us.
BYOB, amazing tikka, unlimited Naan, and awesome personalities! You really can not go wrong coming here. We will definitely be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yaofeng W.Lontoo, Britannia426444. syysk. 2015

Yes, it was good. but honestly, the ratings for this place created sky high expectations that were probably impossible to meet! i'm not sure i'm a great indian cuisine connoisseur, cause i think almost all indian food is good. we opted for the "bring us whatever" menu and we got a variety of vegetarian, lamb, chicken, etc dishes with rice and naan. no bill, just someone came over and told us it was £15/person. it was good, for sure, but nothing to write home about and not worth going to vauxhall for a NW londoner.
i think as all things, best advice would be to go in with regular human expectations instead of thinking you can eat here and die happy :P (that's how avatar was ruined for me as well..)Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Robb B.Lontoo, Britannia11217. maalisk. 2009Ensimmäisen arvostelun tekijä
So it may look dodgy and it my be in an unglamourous place, but OMG the food is amazing. The walls are covered in impressive reviews from great publications from around the world. (amazing what you can do on photoshop) The furniture is plastic and the space is incredibly small will about 10 tables - so book ahead. Often, half the space is booked for one party so it will be loud. Best bit - Bring your own Booze policy.
All the Charm is the owner. (light brown eyes- you will see what I mean when you meet him)
Don't look at the menu as it is filled with a few of the obvious things but most names you will not know. Just have the owner bring you his favorite of the day and you will be hooked. Whats more, you have to order the ridicules huge circular bread 'nan' thing - it's larger than the table. dooh!!!
you will love this placeHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
