A local bought me here and the food was delicious. Had the John Dory and entree was so good. Had strawberries and cream for desert and the service was great. Very French and very good!

Had a delightful evening in this lovely restaurant last week. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional; perfect, unpretentious, thoughtful and well made dishes. I had the smoked herring special and duck confit. Magnifique. My friends also loved their meals.

I happened to be traveling with a colleague who travels often to Paris and tries to never eat at the same place twice. We told him that we wanted to try a traditional French restaurant, so he brought us to Pierrot, which he had never tried before, but it was on his list of places to go. We had a reservation, and when we arrived, we were seated promptly. The dining room was packed with both couples having a romantic meal to families with young children. I was excited to try escargot for the first time, so I started with that. The combination of garlic, parsley and butter over the snails was simply exquisite. I am excited to be a fan of this dish and can't wait to try it again at different places around Paris to compare. When I told the waiter that it was my first time trying escargot and that I thoroughly enjoyed it, he told me that I was more French than him, since he was not a fan. I loved his sense of humor and helpfulness throughout our dining experience. For my main course I ordered the veal with mushrooms. It included some fresh fettuccine with a light gravy sauce. The sauce was to die for, and the veal was tasty, but slightly overcooked, which made it less tender than it should have been. For dessert I ordered my favorite, Creme Brulee. All I can say is WOW! We were also able to meet the owner of the restaurant, who was very welcoming and made us feel like family. If you're looking for traditional French food in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place.

a great place for classic french dishes. we were lucky enough that they fit in a party of six at last minute notice on an otherwise packed night. the waitstaff were very friendly and were happy to help us understand the menu and give recommendations. the food was all delicious. a great atmosphere in a great spot.

This restaurant was highly rated, especially their Boeuf Bourguignon. We were excited to try it. On this lovely May night the first thing we asked the server was how was the Boeuf Bourguignon? She said it is great when they have it but it is a winter dish. Ahhhhh!!! We consoled ourselves with Duck Confit, Magret Canard and rib eye steak. We started with the fois gras which is made in-house and sold as well. Quite delicious and served with a fruit jam and a mysterious gel--we forgot to ask what it was. No one was disappointed. The meats come served on the most delicious potatoes; round disks that are super crispy and meltingly tender on the inside. No one had room for dessert. The entire restaurant was being served by just 2 women who did a yeowoman's job meeting all their requests. A worthy place.

Beautiful restaurant; everything was wonderful. Food was delicious; we had the Burrata, the Filet, the Charcuterie followed by the Creme Brûlée and Chocolate Mousse. The potatoes with the steak were superb and everything was perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They made great suggestions and were lovely with our kids. Wine was fantastic- I highly recommend!

The BEST profiteroles in Paris that I've tried! You have to save room for them. They will split and order between two people and the portion is still generous. The duck and steak are also consistently amazing. Try the Langduoc wine with both those dishes. They made up a beautiful veggie plate for my friend who is a vegan. The fish carpaccio is one of my favorite starters along with the shrimp salad. The staff is all charming and witty. One of my go-to spots in Paris.

This was recommended by our hotel concierge after I explained to him that we are looking for place with French, French, French food, casual dress code (our travel attire does not include anything dressy) that takes reservations. This was right on! They had menu written on chalkboard but also had English translation of the menu that they brought to us. That would normally be a bad sign, meaning this is a touristy place but the food was sooo delicious that we didn't care what the story is. Let's just say that it was not touristy, just good business sense. The service was slow but that is very typical of all restaurants. They were nice and friendly and patient when explaining the menu.
My husband and I started with haricot verts with foie gras which was the best I have ever had. Not as soft and fatty as in then US, it is firmer and more flavorful. For main I got calf liver, hubby got roast duck breast and the boys shared rack of lamb. Everything was fantastic, we all got our meat medium rare and it was right on. The portions were just perfect. For dessert we went for sorbet - lemon, black currant and raspberry. All were amazing, fresh tasting and not too sweet. My espresso came with a small handmade dark chocolate that was a nice addition.
The bill was not small but not too big either and for the quality it was actually quite a good value.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Matt R.Los Angeles, Yhdysvallat12018. syysk. 2015
After 10 years of frequenting Pierrot I think it is time to find a new favorite. Last night the service was so bad...
We waited 10 minutes to have someone bring a menu over after being sat.
After they cleared our entrees we waited 20 minutes for the plats to arrive. And when it did come, the food was cold.
Asked for water, took 15 minutes.
When we told the waiter we wanted the dessert menu it took another 15 minutes for him to bring it -- at which point I just asked for the bill.
Too bad as I've recommended this restaurant to friends and colleagues and go there every time I am in Paris. No more.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Casey T.New York, Yhdysvallat220110504. maalisk. 2012
Decent bistro food. White fish en papillote was decent. Haricot Verts w/ Fois Grois was excellent! Staff was fun and professional....
