Plainfield Skate Park

What a great place to have for those who love skate boarding in Plainfield. There are many individuals who come here every single day and thoroughly enjoy and appreciate this small but popular skate park. How I wish this was available 30 years ago. The Skate Park is close to other parks in a central location on Center Street, fenced in, clean, and a safe location to master all those new moves.

The rules are strictly enforced with properly fitted helmets and chin straps a MUST or you will be asked to leave the skate park not only by the skate monitor but the riders as well. The ramps are well maintained and a sheltered area is available for sun and rain protection. The Skate Park can be rented in its entirety for birthday parties or private events. Check with the Plainfield Rec Center on availability and pricing for private events.

It's seriously one of my favorite spots on the west side. The ramps are fun and the surrounding parks and nearby bike trail put the icing on the cake. Great area. But I gotta give it 1 star cuz they don't take care of it anymore. It's sad and pathetic. Every single panel on every ramp has a hole or crack and the town could give less fucks to fix or maintain it.
