Q-Bar

What can I say about Q-Bar? Well for starters it has some of the best bartenders/owners around! If you were a frequent drinker at Luba Luft in the past then you may find the current owners/bartenders familiar. They have taken their love of making kick ass drinks to the heart of St Pauli.

A large space with several rooms and seating. From what I am told, they recently took the bar over and plan on remodeling. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. The drinks are to die for and the service is top notch! If you love tequila then ask the bartender to make their special drink. It's delish.

Will definitely be coming back again, and again...

Q-Bar is certainly an interesting bar and very much in a transitional period right now. That is to say that as I write, it's in the process of changing from a bar-restaurant into a cocktail bar/club. This is somewhat evident in the decoration it's not the coolest looking bar in Hamburg yet. So, it's a cocktail bar, and the cocktails are made by some of the best mixologists in Hamburg and they're great. They're also reasonably priced, although I wouldn't go so far as to say that they're cheap. If you want good quality liquor, you have to pay for it! One of my favourite things about Q-Bar right now is that it's still relatively unknown. In a year or so, this place will be heaving most nights, but right now it's far enough off the beaten track to get personal service and be able to grab seats on a Friday night which is pretty much unheard of in Hamburg. Anyway, these guys deserve success, so get down there and make it busy!
