Ran across this place on yelp. Food is very fresh and the staff is great. We had dinner at the bar. Gene and Kirsten took great care of us! Well be back!

I have to admit that I was quite surprised about the negative reviews I saw on this site. I travel on business to Bloomington about every 2 months. For the past 5 trips or so, I have exclusively eaten at FARM. I got to meet the chef, Daniel Orr, one time who was very welcoming and was able to take the time to chat for a few minutes. Let's go over the basics.

First of all, I have only been here for dinner and I have always eaten at the bar. The bar tender has always been very friendly and eager to serve. One time, I even accidentally spilled a whole beer all over his work area. He immediately said "no problem", poured me another beer, and didn't charge me for it. If you are a huge IPA fan, then I recommend the Dogfish 90 minute on tap. I have yet to find this anywhere else on tap in Indiana. I haven't had anything else to drink there.

I always get the white bean hummus as an appetizer. I also have tried the pizzas, the tuna, and the beef brisket. I have never had anything bad here. In fact, everything that I have eaten has been either exceptional or excellent. The menu changes with seasons so take advantage of the seasonal items.

I will be back again for the beer, hummus, and the other offerings.

I used to travel to Terre Haute at least once a month. Now I am getting there around once every 3 months. I have stayed at a lot of different places and never really got settled until I started staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. Aside from the Holiday Inn, it is the only hotel I know of in town that has a restaurant and bar attached to it which is important to me. The other thing I like about this hotel is the fact that it is so close to a running/biking trail. There are also places albeit few where one can eat within walking distance. The staff is always very nice and willing to assist you. The rooms are always clean and they serve breakfast every morning in the restaurant. If you are a Hilton HHonors Diamond Member, breakfast is on them. This is the only place I stay in Terre Haute now.

This is located in the downtown area near all of the bank buildings. It is steps away from the Hilton Downtown. I have been to quite a few Brazilian Steakhouses....some of the typical chain types and some local independent ones....I've even been at some overseas. This one is probably closer to the best one I've been to. There was plenty of choices on the salad bar, and plenty of choices to choose from in the rodizio category. I sampled, many different cuts of beef, lamb, pork, sausage, chicken and even some fish. Some places are heavy on the beef which I can understand but i like having more variety. The waiters and the folks with the meat were all very attentive and all provided great service. It also has a pretty good wine list
